A passion for real food
Louisa's passion for food began when she started baking with her grandmother at just five years old. Since then, she has become an accomplished chef, training in France in cheesemaking, butchery, charcuterie, preserving, fermenting, and most recently she qualified as a chef patissière.
Louisa's idea to create the Farm to Table Kitchen came from her desire to marry her principles of using homegrown food with her skills as a chef. Her catering business has evolved since arriving in France 14 years ago. Her farm Little Black Pig grows an array of fruits and vegetables - including edible flowers! She also raises chickens and the famous porc noir pigs, local to the area which are renowned for their delicious meat.
She is committed to ensuring ingredients are sourced locally, so will always try to find delicious alternatives to any ingredients which can only be found outside of France.

It meant that we could really relax and enjoy our guests. Everyone had fun and we’ve had so much lovely feedback this morning. Our last guests left at 5pm!! Thank you for leaving the kitchen so clean and tidy, which made all the difference.

A quick note to thank you very much for the delicious Beef Daube etc you delivered to us at chateau Labarthe for the first night of our holiday - it was the perfect dish to have and much enjoyed by all!
Just wanted to say a really big thank you once again for the whole weekend – it was everything we had imagined and planned for and so much more, so thank you for helping us put it all together. Obviously, we had an absolutely amazing time, with lots of special and happy memories but we also received so much positive feedback about the food, planning, staff, look / feel / set-up etc. of the whole thing, which really did make it such an amazing few days and I know every single person had a great time. Can’t say thank you enough!

My Farm to Table Kitchen aims to provide the best possible ingredients for your catering needs.
I do this by growing the ingredients on my organic farm and anything I cannot produce myself I source from a network of local independent suppliers.
