A passion for real food
Louisa's passion for food began when she started baking with her grandmother at just five years old. Since then, she has become an accomplished chef, training in France in cheesemaking, butchery, charcuterie, preserving, fermenting, and most recently she qualified as a chef patissière.
Louisa's idea to create the Farm to Table Kitchen came from her desire to marry her principles of using homegrown food with her skills as a chef. Her catering business has evolved since arriving in France 14 years ago. Her farm Little Black Pig grows an array of fruits and vegetables - including edible flowers! She also raises chickens and the famous porc noir pigs, local to the area which are renowned for their delicious meat.
She is committed to ensuring ingredients are sourced locally, so will always try to find delicious alternatives to any ingredients which can only be found outside of France.
From the early days of planning to the day of the wedding, Louisa was the most professional person to work with. She and her wonderful team recently catered for our daughter's wedding. The venue was our home and garden and Louisa took care of everything in a very calm and efficient manner. The meal itself was amazing and enjoyed and talked about by all the guests. We did not have to worry about anything. All had been carefully thought out and organised. We would absolutely recommend Louisa any time. Thank You from all The Dixons and our new Japanese Family.

We sought an authentic Gascon celebratory supper and were introduced to Louisa Our pre planning and communications were easy and succinct, and on the day Louisa arrived. From planning, preparation to execution, Louisa and her team deliver 5 stars at every level. Their input, advice and expertise ensured that as the day approached we had complete confidence that the event would go well. On the day the food was stunning, starting with canapés, then sit down meal. The dessert selection was off the scale. Later in the evening the buffet was perfect ..the sausage rolls are rightly famous. The staff were very friendly and professional. Our guests adored them. Seamless in their approach to service, and everything was left spotless the next day. We had a perfect day; Louisa & her team were integral to that. Thank you
Farm to Table Kitchen provided the catering for our work retreat at the beautiful Château Lacoste. Louisa totally understood the needs of our group from day one and came up with exciting, authentic menus that would showcase the best of Southern French cooking and ingredients. Her communication throughout was excellent. All the food - two lunches and two three-course dinners - was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The addition of a serving of the local 'Floc' aperatif was a lovely touch. The team loved it and the team looking after us on site couldn't have been nicer or more attentive.
